Eros Ramazzotti
The son of Rodolfo Ramazzotti and Raffaela Molina Ramazzotti was born on October 26th, 1963 in San Giovanni Hospital in Rome. He lived in the district of Cinecittà in Rome, next to the great movie studios. In his childhood, Eros participated as an extra alongside his friends in some films. It is said that he appears in “Amarcord”, by Federico Fellini (a film that won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 1973). In his teens, he on the verge of immigrating to Australia with his family. He even took English classes, but the request was denied. His father was a painter. Though he tried, in the past, to dedicate himself to singing (he recorded songs, Lui è one and Voglio andare sulla luna.) After the failed attempt, he tried to enter a conservatory, but is rejected for not knowing how to read music. He presents himself with a song by Francesco DiGregori.
He drops out of school (“Margarita Bosco”, that still exists, the same that would later receive the soccer players Nesta and Totti). He studied Accounting during two years, but left it in the late 70’s and began to take his first steps in music.
